Metro Pacific Tollways has added a helpful feature to its MPT DriveHub app. Drivers and app users can now schedule their EasyTrip RFID installations directly on DriveHub, with the option to choose their installation location, date, and time. There are certified EasyTrip installation locations scattered across the Philippines, so this should come in useful for all motorists who traverse through NLEX, SCTEX, CALAX, and CAVITEX.
Installations can be performed for first-time users, or those looking to replace their existing RFID stickers, whether it be damaged or outdated. Either way, EasyTrip RFIDs are free, and so is installation. Motorists will just need to load up however much balance they need, which can also be done through the DriveHub app.

After opening DriveHub, users will need to click ‘ORRAS Appointment’ under the RFID Services section—ORRAS aptly stands for Online RFID Registration and Appointment System. From there, users will be able to book an installation appointment at their most convenient time and location. After booking, a QR code will be generated that users will need to present at their appointment.
Users are also prompted to present their vehicle’s official receipt and certificate of registration for verification purposes. For owners of secondhand vehicles, the deed of sale may also be requested at the installation site.
MPTC is currently working on a similar system for CCLEX RFID installation booking via DriveHub.
